Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on TV on December 25, 2021 that India will start the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine i.e. booster dose from January 10, 2022. Then the omicron variant started circulating more. But in a press conference held on December 24, the top leadership of the COVID-19 management committee had clearly cut off the question of the third dose.
