Marie Targonski-O'Brien

Marie Targonski-O'Brien graduated from Rowan University in 2011 with a BA in Philosophy and Religion Studies. After working with victims of gender-based violence in The Democratic Republic of Congo she decided to return to graduate school to purse a career in journalism in an effort to tell stories about people impacted by violence around the world. She is currently working toward a Master's in Journalism from the University of Southern California where she writes about women, culture and the environment for Annenberg Media.
