Christopher Murphy (he/his/him) is the Controller for The GroundTruth Project. He is an accountant with 15 years of professional experience in public accounting, renewable energy and nonprofit finance. Most recently he’s worked as a consultant, assisting growing nonprofit organizations develop scalable accounting and finance practices.
Christopher is also an Adjunct Professor of Business at Sattler College where he teaches accounting to young, unwitting minds. He has a B.A. in Economics/Finance with a minor in Philosophy from Bentley University, where he was Vice President of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Theatre Honor Society.
Christopher is a volunteer trip leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club and raises and trains puppies for the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. Outside the office you’ll find him backpacking, rock climbing, and working as part of the engine room of the fourth fastest dragon boat team in Boston. He lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts with his spouse, two children and their guide dog school dropout, Russell.
