Alison Scott

Alison Scott

Alison (Ali) graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2007 after studying Communications Media with an emphasis in broadcast journalism.

She worked as a local advertising rep for her hometown newspaper, The Bucks County Courier Times, before earning a Master's degree in Education in 2013.

After teaching high school English in Philadelphia, PA and Lynn, MA she moved onto higher education at MIT in 2017. Supporting faculty work and organizing conferences were key responsibilities, and fed her passion for working with others and bringing people together in a meaningful way. She looks forward to doing more of this work at The GroundTruth Project, and is excited to return to her roots in journalism.
