Anh Gray is the Report for America Corps Excellence Regional Manager for Region 6 (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming). Previously, she provided audio coaching to Report for America corps members in a 10-newsroom pilot program supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Anh was a health reporter and editor at NPR member station KUNR Public Radio in Reno, Nevada. Her work has received Regional Edward R. Murrow awards and recognition from the Public Media Journalist Association (PMJA) and the Associated Press Television Radio Association (APTRA). Anh enjoys working with early-career journalists and is currently a co-director of the AAJA Mentor Match program. Other prior experiences have included serving as co-deputy director with the American Journalists Association (AAJA) Voices program and as a mentor with NPR’s Next Generation Radio. After fleeing the Vietnam War with her family, she lived in Hawaii and Southern California. Anh currently resides in Reno, Nevada with her husband, three children, two dogs and a leopard gecko.
