Amy Guggenheim Shenkan has over 12 years of experience as a public company and private equity backed corporate director and over 7 years of Audit and Nominating and Governance Committee experience. Her leadership roles include public company officer, McKinsey & Company digital transformation leader, and social impact company president. Shenkan brings value to companies looking execute successful digital transformations. This expertise derives from her long track record of leading and advising US based and international organizations to achieve growth by leveraging technology for strategic advantage including by innovating omnichannel distribution models, evolving GTM strategies and branding, setting customer centric strategies and executing M&A integrations while driving necessary cultural transformations. She works across industries including marketplaces, automotive, retail, SAAS, media, travel, and in businesses ranging from startups to multibillion dollar global enterprises. Shenkan serves on the board of Zuora (NYSE: ZUO), the leading global SAAS subscription management platform. She serves on the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Governance Committee and has been advising the CEO on evolving their GTM and M&A strategies. She recently joined the board of Pickles Auctions, Australia’s leading marketplace for cars and industrial equipment; owned by Apax Partners. Shenkan is a Senior Advisor to Altamont Capital Partners. She serves on the boards of Hybrid Apparel, a full-service design, development and omnichannel apparel distribution company where she is leveraging her ecommerce and digital transformation expertise to drive profitable growth. She also serves on the board of Byrider, a leading used car franchise, retail and finance business where she is advising on strategy, digital marketing and customer experience. Previously, she served on the board of RB Global (NYSE: RBA), an $11B market cap industrial equipment omnichannel marketplace. Shenkan served as the Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and member of the Audit Committee. She oversaw RBA’s digital transformation from a live event auction business to an omnichannel, tech enabled, insight driven marketplace. She also has served on TPG portfolio boards including E.L.F. Cosmetics and vRide, a rideshare platform. Shenkan’s operating experience spans 30 years and includes leadership positions in industry powerhouses such as McKinsey & Company, GE, Wells Fargo, Travelocity and Common Sense Media. At McKinsey, Shenkan led digital transformation work serving clients across industries, in the US and internationally, looking to leverage technology to innovate omnichannel strategies and business models. Shenkan also served as an executive and officer of Previewtravel.com. She was key to executing the reverse merger integration between Preview Travel and Travelocity creating the largest online travel agency at the time. Shenkan played an integral role in driving Wells Fargo’s omnichannel banking strategy and helping to lead its $12B merger integration with First Interstate. Shenkan is also the former President of Common Sense Media; a company dedicated to helping kids successfully navigate the media and technology world. Shenkan helped build Common Sense into the most significant, entrepreneurial, technology-based social impact organization of its kind. Shenkan earned a BA in Economics and Psychology and graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan and earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is NACD Directorship CertifiedTM and holds a CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight.
