Your donation supports GroundTruth in tangible and important ways:
$10,000 pays for a three-month reporting fellowship that enables a talented, emerging journalist to cover a big story related to women’s rights, global health or climate change.
$1,000 covers the cost of critical safety training for a journalist to report from the ground on potentially dangerous stories, from civil unrest to infectious disease to natural disaster.
$500 covers insurance for a journalist (every GroundTruth reporting fellow is covered).
$250 enables an emerging photojournalist to create a photo essay as part of our “Emerging Photographers” series.
$100 is enough for a carbon offset of our reporting fellows as they find important stories around the world.
$50 purchases a packet of 25 reporters’ notebooks (many of our journalists still prefer to take notes the old-fashioned way!).
$25 buys a local SIM card for a mobile phone or local transportation for an international fellow.
$10 keeps them caffeinated. And/or hydrated.
