The Role
We are seeking a Grants Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the grant development process. This full-time position is crucial in securing funding to support our mission. Reporting to the [Supervisor Title], you will identify grant opportunities, write compelling proposals, manage relationships with funders, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Grant Research and Identification: Research public and private grant opportunities and maintain a calendar of deadlines.
- Proposal Development: Lead the writing and submission of grant proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
- Grant Management and Compliance: Track deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Fund Reporting and Stewardship: Maintain accurate records, serve as the point of contact for funders, and assist with donor acknowledgment and recognition strategies.
- Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance and program teams to develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Align grant proposals with organizational goals, ensure internal stakeholders are informed of commitments, and provide training as needed.
- Grant Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of grant strategies and evaluate outcomes to inform future activities.
What You’ll Bring to the Team

- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in grant writing or nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of securing funding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling proposals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of grant writing, reporting processes, and compliance with funder requirements.
- Proficiency in grant management software, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
