Waqas A. Khan is an international reporter on education, politics, agriculture, security, terrorism and environment. He has received fellowships from the International Centre for Journalists and the US State Department of the State. He has worked with the Daily Florida Times, Daily The Nation, Daily Pakistan Today, Daily Ausaf and More magazine. Waqas is currently a PhD Scholar in Advanced Assessment and Evaluation at the University of Management and Technology, Lahore Pakistan. He holds a master's degree in Quality Management, diploma in “Practical Project Management” from Ateneo De Manila University Philippines, B.Ed and M.Ed from University of Sargodha. In addition to being a journalist, he is a passionate teacher and runs a rural school in Changa Manga, Punjab, Pakistan. Khan has worked for many societies and organizations voluntarily, including Master Trainer at Centre for Civic Education Pakistan, Provincial Coordinator CM Task Force on Human Rights and Rule of Law, Deputy Chairman National Education Council Pakistan, General Secretary Punjab Education Council, Master Trainer SAHIL, Fazaldad Human Rights Institute, Centre for Peace and Human Rights and SYBAN. He believes in soft change and uses his pen for the purpose.
